[Update]Prize Distribution ceremony for Sep-2010 ITSA

Hi,I am glad to inform that the ITSA prize distribution function will happen on Wednesday i.e 29/09/2010 at 12:30 in IT Bhavan Seminar Hall (Room No: 308).Prizes will be given over by our placement officer Mr.S.R.Gollapudi and our HOD.
We request all of the prize winners to attend the function by sharp 12:30.

Technical Sessions on Saturday

There are some cool technical sessions of level 100 - the basic level on Saturday morning starting at 9:00 and up to 12:45 at Seminar hall ( room no. 308 ).

The Agenda:
  1. Introduction to Ubuntu Linux - 45 min
  2. Introduction to Silverlight programming for Windows Phone - 1hr
  3. Introduction to Windows Azure - 1 hr
  4. Introduction to Web Matrix - develop a simple website - 1 hr

Mock Placements Round1 written Test Results and Solutions

The PDF only contains those who have succesfully crossed the assigned cut-off marks.

Overnight Coding - September 2010

Are you a die hard coder? Do you spend hours before the computer just programming for hours?

If yes, the competition is for you. This special event is a competition testing your algorithmic ability and your programming skills to the max. extent.
The event goes like this:
  1. On Thursday Friday, two problems will be posted on this blog at 4:00 PM. (postponed to friday)
  2. You are required to solve the problems by Friday morning  and submit them to the specified email or to the below mentioned organizers below the deadline.
  3. If you can not completely solve the problems then you may submit the pseudo code algorithm and equal credit will be given to the logic and the efficiency of the approach.
  4. Separate problems will be given for the second and third year students.
Questions will be based on data structures and require basic C/C++/Java programming skills. You may submit the solution in any language and you should be able to explain the solution perfectly. Approach matters!

Mock Placements - September 2010

The round one of Mock Placements which is a written test will be conducted at 12:30 on Thursday in the class rooms of each class. We expect every ITSA member to participate in the written test. The test will be similar to the written test for any IT company like TCS, Infosys.etc.
The test is to contain 30 bits which you are expected to solve in the given time of 30 minutes.
Students who cleared the test with the cutoff expected will reach the next round of this competition.

The rounds in Mock Placements are:
  1. Written Test
  2. Group Discussions.
  3. Technical Interviews.
  4. HR interviews.
The students clearing all the 4 phases successfully step by step will be declared as winners. If you have any queries, comment to this post and we will revert to you soon.

We are glad to inform you that IT student's Association (ITSA) is conducting it's first phase of events for the academic year 2010-11 from 16/09/2010 to 18/09/2010. The events are:
